GRAHAM ROWAT (Harold Hill)
Graham is proud to be making his STAGES debut. He was last seen on Broadway in LOVEMUSIK, directed by Harold Prince. Other Broadway credits include DRACULA, directed by Des McAnuff, and Disney’s BEAUTY AND THE BEAST (also Toronto). For the past three seasons Graham has played Bob Wallace in Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS (San Francisco, Detroit, and Toronto). He has been a soloist with the National Symphony and Portland Symphony Orchestras and appeared on TV in “Law and Order”, “Six Degrees”, and “As The World Turns”. Graham is husband to actress Kate Baldwin.

Christy is proud to be back at STAGES where she was last seen as Louise in GYPSY. She has appeared in the First National tours of CINDERELLA (Queen u/s & performed) and DR. DOLITTLE (Emma u/s & performed). Off-Broadway, Christy played the role of Laura in A FINE AND PRIVATE PLACE at the York Theatre. Favorite regional credits include ANNIE (Grace) and ANYTHING GOES (Hope) at Sacramento Music Circus, MY FAIR LADY (Eliza) at the Fulton Opera House, DAMES AT SEA (Mona Kent) at the Riverside Theatre, and LITTLE ME (Belle) at North Shore Music Theatre. Christy is also a member of VocalEase, a volunteer singing group entertaining seniors throughout NYC. [TOP]

Edward is so excited to be back at STAGES where he last appreared as Sancho Panza in the 2005 production of MAN OF LA MANCHA. As an actor, Ed has appeared in the National tour and Broadway production of LES MISERABLES. New York credits include FANNY (York), TRIUMPH OF LOVE (Lincoln Center), and SMOKING BLOOMBERG (NYMTF). Some favorite regional/stock credits include THE PRODUCERS (Max), SLEUTH (Andrew), BAT BOY (Rick/Lorraine), and OKLAHOMA! (Jud). WHIT REICHERT (Mayor Shinn)
Whit is very excited to return to STAGES for his 9th season where some of his favorite roles include Moonface Martin in ANYTHING GOES, Van Buren in DAMN YANKEES, Mr. Biggley in HOW TO SUCCEED..., Mr. Maraczek in SHE LOVES ME, Everett Baker in CRAZY FOR YOU, and Pelinore in CAMELOT. A familiar face to St. Louis audiences, Whit has appeared at The Muny, The St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, The Black Rep, Historyonics, The Black Cat Theatre, and in 25 productions at The Rep. Regionally, Whit has performed at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Great Lakes Theatre Festival, Great Plains Theatre Festival, Riverside Theatre, Galveston Island Outdoor Musicals, and Casa Manana. GRETCHEN HEWITT (Eulalie Mackecknie Shinn)
Gretchen is excited to enter the wonderful world of musical theater with STAGES.
In oratorio, and in concert she has appeared as a soloist in such works as Haydn’s “The Creation” (Seattle Pro Musica), Mozart’s “Requiem” (Everett Symphony), Bach’s “Christmas Oratorio” and Handel’s “Messiah” (Orchestra Seattle). With Tacoma Opera, her roles have included Frasquita in CARMEN, the First Lady in THE MAGIC FLUTE, and Frau Brenner in THE PIED PIPER OF HAMELIN. Returning to her St Louis roots, Gretchen has also appeared as a soloist with the St. Louis Youth Orchestra in Samuel Barber’s “Knoxville: Summer of 1915”. Gretchen has performed her song “Symphony of Brotherhood” in the Seattle Opera House, the King Center, and in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. [TOP]

Peggy makes her STAGES debut with THE MUSIC MAN. Since arriving in St. Louis from Los Angeles last year, appearances have included REMNANT (Krist’n Taler) for Mustard Seed Theatre (Kevin Kline Nomination/Best Ensemble), VIEUX CARRE (Mrs. Wire) for Muddy Waters, and most recently as Lillian in BLUISH for The New Jewish Theatre. LA credits include BUNBURY (Ovation Nomination) and THE PAGANS at The Road Theatre, ANYONE CAN WHISTLE at The Matrix, and MAN OF LA MANCHA at The Rubicon. Spencer, a 7th grade student in Webster Schools, is thrilled to be making his STAGES debut this season. For the past few summers, he has been fortunate to appear at The Muny where previous roles include Michael Darling in PETER PAN and the Mayor of Munchkinland in THE WIZARD OF OZ. A Muny Kid for 3 years, Spencer has appeared in JOSEPH … DREAMCOAT, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, OLIVER!, and BEAUTY AND THE BEAST. He has also performed with The Muny Kids chorus in JOSEPH … DREAMCOAT at The Fox and in ENCHANTMENT OF DREAMS with Opera Theatre St. Louis. Ben happily returns to STAGES for his 5th season where representative roles include Ren in FOOTLOOSE (2005 Kevin Kline Award), Arpad in SHE LOVES ME, and Lon in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. Other favorites include INTO THE WOODS (Lyceum Theatre), URINETOWN – THE MUSICAL (St. Louis Rep; KKA nom.), and AMADEUS (Great Lakes Theater Festival). Ben has appeared Off-Broadway and regionally at the Alley Theatre, Cleveland Playhouse, and Riverside Theatre. Locally, Ben has worked with The Rep, Echo Theatre Company, HotCity Theatre, Sheldon Concert Hall, New Jewish Theatre, and in over 20 shows at the Arrow Rock Lyceum Theatre. This year Ben directed the inaugural season of TeamStages. He has also directed STAGES’ production of YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN (2006 KKA – Outstanding Production for Young Audiences), which he again directed this season at Saint Louis University. Bill is delighted to return to STAGES where he has worked as a company member since 1995. His last appearance here, as Reverend Moore in FOOTLOOSE, garnered him a Kevin Kline Award nomination. Since then Bill has appeared in critically acclaimed productions of NOISES OFF and URINETOWN – THE MUSICAL. Bill is Professor of Voice & Speech at Webster University’s Conservatory of Theatre Arts. He earned his BA in Theatre from the University of Maryland and an MFA in Acting from the Florida State University/Asolo Conservatory for Actor Training. Steve is very pleased to be returning for his 15th season at STAGES, where he has had the pleasure of playing a wide variety of roles including Lank in CRAZY FOR YOU, Edward Rutledge in 1776, Beef in GOOD NEWS, and Herbie in GYPSY. Steve most recently appeared as a Gangster in KISS ME KATE for The Repertory Theatre of St.Louis. He has performed with many other St. Louis companies including the Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, Imaginary Theatre Company, New Jewish Theatre, HotCity Theatre, TNT, and Historyonics. Steve is the Executive Director of the Professional Theatre Awards Council, the presenters of the Kevin Kline Awards. She is 11 years old and a 6th-grader at Sperring Middle School. Recent credits include Veruca Salt in WILLY WONKA, JR. for Crestwood/Kirkwood Youth Theatre and the children’s ensemble for The Muny’s 90th Anniversary Revue. Abigail is also a member of The Muny Kids. She studies piano with Catherine Edwards-Kopff, dances at On Your Toes Dance Studio, and takes gymnastics at St. Louis Gym Center. She has appeared in four Muny productions, the children’s chorus in JOSEPH at the Fox Theatre, and been a Muny Kids member since 2005. MICHELE BURDETTE ELMORE (Alma Hix)
Michele is thrilled to finally appear in one of her favorite musicals: THE MUSIC MAN. Most recently, she appeared in the critically acclaimed run of Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRITMAS at the Carousel Dinner Theatre in Akron, Ohio which broke all box office records in the Carousel’s 30-year history. Prior to that Michele appeared as Annie Wilkes in MISERY at the Lyceum Theatre in Arrow Rock, Missouri and as Mrs. Baskin in BIG – THE MUSICAL for Ozark Actors Theatre. St. Louis credits include Patricia Fodor in CRAZY FOR YOU at STAGES, CLOSER THAN EVER for Avalon Theatre Company, Ma Strong in URINETOWN – THE MUSICAL for The Rep, and several productions at The Muny including FIDDLER ON THE ROOF and SHOW BOAT. Berklea returns to STAGES after appearing as Agnes in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. She enjoys performing as a member of the TeamStages touring troupe. The Muny audiences have seen her as Tootie in MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS, Gretl in THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Kim in SHOW BOAT, and flying across The Muny stage as Jane in PETER PAN. She appeared as Susan Waverly in Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS at The Muny and reprised the role at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. She has performed in JOSEPH… DREAMCOAT at the Fox Theatre in St. Louis and was a vocal soloist in the production of JOSEPH at The Muny. Berklea studies ballet, tap, baton, and is a national tumbling medalist for St. Louis Elite.

Kellie is delighted to return to the STAGES family for a 4th season having appeared in A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, HELLO, DOLLY!, and THE SOUND OF MUSIC. Kellie’s favorite roles include Adele in DIE FLEDERMAUS and Mademoiselle Warblewell in THE IMPRESARIO. She has also had the pleasure of singing the title role in LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD and Pertelotte in CHANTACLEER for Opera is Elementary and has appeared as Lisette in SWEETHEARTS with Light Opera Works. More recently, Kellie sings throughout Saint Louis in the group “Heartsong.” She wants to thank her wonderful family for all of their love and support.

Featured roles include leads in SUESSICAL (Characters & Company), OLIVER (Dayspring School of Arts), and AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS (Midwest Lyrical Opera). Drew has spent the last three years as a Muny Kid and has appeared in The Muny’s productions of AIDA, OLIVER, PETER PAN, and JOSEPH AND THE AMAZING TECHNICOLOR DREAMCOAT. Matthew appeared as JoJo in SEUSICAL Jr. and Mike Teavee in CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY this past year. Gabriel is excited to be joining STAGES. An “Aussie” by birth and an 8th grader at Crossroads College Prep, he has been dancing ballet, jazz, modern, and tap at COCA since age 5. Gabriel is an inaugural member of COCA’s Ballet Eclectica and has danced in its LITTLE DANCER and SLEEPING BEAUTY. Locally, he has appeared in CARMEN, GLORIANA, and HANSEL AND GRETEL with Opera Theatre of Saint Louis and FALSTEFF with Union Avenue Opera. Gabriel has also danced in SWAN LAKE at the Fox with Pittsburgh Ballet and THE NUTCRACKER at the Fox with the Joffrey Ballet. Miranda is thrilled to make her STAGES debut! Currently a senior at Webster University, Miranda is pursuing a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree in Dance. She represented Webster in a performance at the National College Dance Festival earlier this summer in New York City. Other performance credits include Webster University Dance Ensemble, American College Dance Festival Gala, “The Electrical Storm” by The Mirror Stage music video, and Alive Magazine’s Spring Fashion Show. Miranda has trained throughout St. Louis and New York and is currently on the teaching staff at Dance Elite. She would like to thank the wonderful people at STAGES for this great opportunity! JUSTIN P. WINGENROTH

Justin is excited to make his STAGES debut in THE MUSIC MAN. A native of Reading, PA, his tour credits include the International tours of 42ND STREET (Thief/Ensemble) and CATS (Mistoffelees, Pouncival). Regionally, Justin has appeared in productions of THE KING AND I (Simon of Legree) and Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS. He has also been seen at Tokyo Disneyland, HerseyPark and in the film CLEAR BLUE TUESDAY. Justin is also a member of The Chase Brock Experience, C. Eule Dance, and Christopher Caines Dance Company. He sends many thanks to family and friends for their encouragement and support.
